St Michael's Church possesses a fine pipe organ made by the firm of Norman and Beard in 1912. Norman & Beard Ltd., were probably the largest organ-building firm of their day, based in Norfolk in England. They had gained a very enviable reputation for quality craftsmanship even by 1912.
The organ at St Michael's has approximately 1,420 pipes arranged over three manuals and a 30 note Pedalboard. It works on the exhaust pneumatic system (please see the 'Instruments' page for more information).
